The Montreal Forum

During the mid 70’s the Montreal Forum was the venue of the most prestigious Taekwondo event ever held in Canada. It was where USA players led by the legendary Joseph Hayes faced off against a Canadian team led by other legend Daniel Richer in an epic event called “The Battle of Champions”. The event was organized by Grand Master Chong Lee who introduced Taekwondo in Canada during the late 60’s. All three mentioned were in later years inducted into the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame®
