The “Best Team Coach” trophy awarded to GM Ruben Ayala at the 1990 Pan American Taekwondo Championships held in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. There were on two such trophies presented. While another trophy was presented to the coach of the best male team, GM Ayala received this exquisite award for coaching the best women’s team. In 2017 GM Ruben Ayala Puerto Rico’s all time greatest international and Olympic coach was inducted into the OFFICIAL TAEKWONDO HALL OF FAME
