This 8th Dan Certificate was issued to Grandmaster Eddie Minyard by Great Grandmaster Kim Bok Man, one of the most influential pioneers in the history of Taekwondo. Great Grandmaster Kim Bok Man is internationally recognized for introducing Taekwon-do to Hong Kong, Malaysia, and several other countries throughout Asia. He later founded his own martial art system, Chun Kuhn Do, further cementing his legacy as an innovator and global ambassador of Korean martial arts.
In 2007, Great Grandmaster Kim Bok Man received the highest honors in the martial arts community when he was inducted into the OFFICIAL TAEKWONDO HALL OF FAME® alongside pioneering legends including Nam Tae Hi, Sang Min Cho, Rhee Ki Ha, and other distinguished masters whose contributions helped shape the worldwide growth of Taekwondo.
