This exquisite trophy was won by GM Isaias Dueñas of Mexico at the 1974 World Professional Karate Championships where he won the world lightweight title. GM Isaias Duenas fought GM Ramon Smith of the Dominican Republic in what many consider to have the most exciting match of the event.
