MASTER LINDA PACE,  6TH DAN KUKKIWON

Master Linda Pace could be considered a late starter on the Taekwondo scene.  After the birth of her second child she decided to accompany her eldest son in his Taekwondo classes since her son was only four years old at the time.  She has not looked back ever since. Taekwondo has become an extremely important endeavour in her life as it has become a true passion.

Master Linda Pace is a highly commended international Taekwondo Poomsae referee and an extremely successful former international Poomsae athlete. 

As an International Class Referee, Master Linda Pace officiated at the 2016 and 2018 World Poomsae Championships in Peru and Taiwan, respectively, and the 1st European President’s Cup in 2016. In 2014, she officiated at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland, and in the achieving the award of “Best Referee”.  In the 2019 Kimunyong Cup International Open in Seoul, Korea, she was also given  the “Best Referee” award.

In 2019, the executive director and the technical advisors of the Taekwondo Hall of Fame conferred a “Special Citation” to Master Linda Pace in recognition as an “Outstanding Taekwondo Referee”.

In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, Master Linda Pace judged in the 1st WT Online Poomsae World Championships and the 1st World Taekwondo European Online Poomsae Championships. Linda also organised and conducted the 1st World Taekwondo Oceania Online Poomsae Championships. This was recorded as one of the biggest and most successful championships ever held for the Oceania region.

Master Linda Pace is currently the Poomsae Director for World Taekwondo, Oceania and also the former Chair of the Australian Taekwondo National Governing Body, Poomsae Officiating Committee.

As an elite Poomsae athlete, Master Linda Pace was Australian National champion for numerous years and won the Australian Open Championships twice. She has also represented Australia attaining Gold Medals at the 2014 Oceania Taekwondo Championships, 2011 Commonwealth Games in Chennai and 2009 Belgian Open.  She also achieved Bronze Medals at the 2010 and 2013 Korean Open Championships, as well as at the 2013 US Open Championships.  Master Linda Pace also competed at the 2010 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Uzbekistan.  

In 2014, at the 9th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Mexico, Master Linda Pace placed 2nd in her division achieving a Silver Medal.  She is currently one of the few Australian Poomsae athletes to have reached this level at a World Poomsae Championship.

Master Linda Pace is also the Principal and Founder of White Studio Taekwondo in Brighton, Victoria and the President of GCS International Victoria Australia chapter.
