Master Michael Scarola

Master Michael Scarola, a student of GM Jung Hwan Park was a forms champion during the early years. While he also competed in sparring as a youth, his forte was forms competition, winning 9 of the 11 competitions he entered and mainly taking first place. The two events he recalled not winning which he attributes to politics were held at Madison Square Garden and his instructor GM Jung Hwan Park’s tournament.
