Former president of Taekwondo Canada.

Recipient of the Queens Platinum Jubilee medal for outstanding volunteer achievements in sport.

Created the first community outreach program in Canada for Taekwondo to bridge the gap between underprivileged youth, and police officers through Taekwondo.

Former President of the Nova Scotia Taekwondo Association.

Founder and President of the Maritime Taekwondo Union. The goal of the Maritime TaeKwonDo Union (MTU) is to have a unified society in which all TaeKwonDo students, instructors, coaches, and officials, unite together under one banner, leaving aside politics and personal bias.
