This is the medal of the U.S.A.’s first world and international gold medalist Marcia Hall. In 1978 under the coaching of Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim she won gold at the First Pre-World Invitatoinal Taekwondo Championship held in Seoul, Korea at the Kukkiwon. The following year she won the medal shown here at the World Invitational Taekwondo Games held in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2009 Marcia Hall received the highest honor in Taekwondo upon being inducted into the OFFICIAL TAEKWONDO HALL OF FAME®
