This is the silver medal awarded to Albert Cheeks and members of the U.S.A. Team for their 2nd place finish at the First World Taekwondo Championships held in Korea in 1973. In 2007 other members of that namely the legendary Joseph Hayes, Michael Warren, Fred Absher, Jim Butin and their coach David Kim received the highest honor in Taekwondo upon being inducted into the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame®️.
