This spectacular plaque was gifted to Grand Master Jon Wiedenman by the family of Changmookwan founder, Supreme Grand Master Nam Suk Lee. As the last private student of SGM Nam Suk Lee, Grand Master Wiedenman received his 9th Dan directly from his instructor and is today recognized along with GM Tony Barnes are two of the most senior and respected proponents of the original Changmookwan worldwide. During the late 1970s, he distinguished himself as a champion competitor on the West Coast of the United States
In 2022, Grand Master Wiedenman received Taekwondo’s highest honor when he was inducted into the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame®. The United States Taekwondo Museum® sincerely thanks Grand Master Wiedenman for the donation of this digitally preserved historical relic.
