This is the original belt of Grand Master Suk Jung Kim, President of Taekwon-Do International. In addition to participating as a member of General Choi Hong HI’s 7th International ITF demonstration team he founded the “Taekwon Do Instructor’s Association”.
He was also the presenter of a Taekwondo Championship Tournament from 1977 to 1998. During the early years of competition in the U.S. he put his own skill to the test in several events on the East Coast. He does not boast about his success or lack thereof in the ring but rather defers to the accomplishments of Keith Otto and the late Ruben Casanova whom he led in international team competitions as true champions. Due to his lifetime of commitment to Taekwondo he was inducted into the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame®️in 2011.
