The actual warmup suit of Korean player Kye Seung Lee also pronounced “Gye Seung Lee”, featherweight gold medal winner at the 2nd WORLD TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP held on Korea in 1975Many thanks to 1975 USA National Team Captain Bob Phillips who had exchanged official warmup suits 50 years ago following the event. He recently donated both the pants and top in pristine condition to the UNITED STATES TAEKWONDO MUSEUM®️
The warmup suit was on display along with other historical artifacts at the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame Ceremony on August 19, 2022. Gye-seung Lee, a doctor of education, who won a number of national championships and produced 13 national teams in the 1990s and 1990s as a Taekwondo team at Namdaejeon High and Daejeon High School. Gye-seung Lee is a former athlete who won the 51st and 56th National Sports Festival and the 2nd World Championship in 1975.
